The spring will push down the dry-herb towards the screen, resulting in less wasted product.
If you are vaping wax, you will not use the included honeycomb screen or the spring. Place the wax directly on the heating coil and screw the mouth-piece on. Waxes need to be in direct contact with the heating element in order for the best vaping experience.
Once the mouth-piece has been attached, you are ready to begin vaping. Begin heating the vape by pressing and holding the power button. For dry-herbs, hold the button for 3-5 seconds to make sure that the dry-herb is properly baked. For waxes, you may need to experiment with how long you hold the power button. Hold it too little and you will not get good vapor. Hold it too long and you will burn the wax, resulting in a charred flavor.
Once vaping is complete, allow the heating chamber to cool before cleaning.
